In addition to our spacious hangar and coastal grass airstrip, the Ulster Gliding Club offers a range of excellent facilities.

Our Visitor Center (aka Club House) is a fully enclosed, heated building featuring surround-windows allowing all to enjoy panoramic views of gliders soaring over Binevenagh Mountain and the Lough Foyle.

The main Club House features a spacious lounging area and full cooking facilities. Outdoor picnic tables can be enjoyed by all, weather permitting.

An adjacent building contains additional areas for meetings and instructional sessions.

Our expansive Workshop allows for in-house aircraft repairs and restoration projects. Some of the latter have been featured in the media!

The club has its own Camping and Caravan Site, including a Club Caravan which may be available to overnight guests. An additional showers and toilet block stands adjacent to the site.

Level access to club buildings is provided for wheelchair users and wheelchair accessible toilets are available.

Should you have specific questions or concerns about our facilities prior to your visit, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

If you are interested in booking our facilities for an event, please get in touch to discuss what you have in mind. The Ulster Gliding Club offers a beautiful setting, and may be available to book outside of flying operations.
